Application

Application Comment Organism
medicine ADAMTS1, ADAMTS5 and follicle stimulating hormone receptors are expressed 2.56, 2.10, and 2.66fold less in Sertoli cells of NOA patients, than those of obstructive azoospermia. After recombinant follicle stimulating hormone is added onto Sertoli cell cultures of patients with nonobstructive azoospermia, their expression does not increase significantly and does not reach to levels of control group. Expression of ADAMTS1 and ADAMTS5 are insignificantly 1.03 and 1.1fold higher in obstructive azoospermia group, respectively. In the nonobstructive azoospermia group, their expressions are 1.70 and 1.96fold lower, respectively, when compared with the fertile control Homo sapiens
