In cells grown under heat stress, 2-O-beta-D-mannosyl-di-myo-inositol-1,3'-phosphate is the major solute, accounting for 43% of the total pool. 2-O-beta-D-Mannosyl-di-myo-inositol-1,3'-phosphate and 2-O-(beta-D-mannosyl-(1->2)-beta-D-mannosyl)-di-myo-inositol-1,3'-phosphate accumulate to similar levels, each corresponding to 11.5% of the total pool Thermotoga maritima
