1.14.18.1 Thai honey different types of Thai honey on pathogenic bacteria causing skin diseases, tyrosinase enzyme and generating free radicals, antibacterial and antioxidant activities of Thai honey, overview. Honey from longan flower gives the highest activity on multiresistent Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA isolate 49) when compared to the other types of honey, with a minimum inhibitory concentration of 12.5% v/v and minimum bactericidal concentration of 25% v/v. The antioxidant activity of the honey obtained from coffee pollen is the highest with highest level of phenolic and flavonoid compounds. Honey from coffee flower shows inhibition of tyrosinase by 63.46%. The highest activity of tyrosinase inhibition from manuka honey is also very high Agaricus bisporus
