Hevea brasiliensis rubber yields and/or yield characteristics are significantly positively correlated with enzyme expression levels. The up-regulation of the gene might be related to the latex production of rubber trees under the stress of bark tapping and latex metabolism. Both bark tapping and ethephon and methyl jasmonate stimulation could significantly increase the transcript levels, which shows the greatest expression levels during the last stage of incipient tapping after tree opening up
