General Information

General Information Comment Organism
physiological function oxidation of isobutylamine to isobutylhydroxylamine is catalyzed by a two-component enzyme system consisting of isobutylamine hydroxylase vlmH, and flavin reductase vlmR. In combination with isobutylamine hydroxylase, flavin reductase catalyzes the conversion of isobutylamine to isobutylhydroxylamine. The flavin reductase protein utilizes FAD and NADPH in preference to FMN, riboflavin, and NADH Streptomyces viridifaciens
